This article walks you through how to connect your HubSpot account to Experiences by Jebbit, map your questions and outcomes to HubSpot properties, and verify data flow. This allows you to trigger workflows, populate contact records, and personalize your marketing communications, all based on real-time consumer responses.
Before you begin
Request an integration with our team.
Log in to both your HubSpot and Experiences by Jebbit accounts.
Confirm you have permission in HubSpot to authorize integrations and manage contact properties.
Identify the HubSpot properties you want to map Jebbit questions to.
Generate your HubSpot private app access token.
Create a HubSpot integration
Log into Jebbit.
Navigate to the Attributes tab in Jebbit and note the IDs of the attributes you wish to sync with HubSpot. For example last_name.
Log into Hubspot and identify or create the corresponding contact properties and note their internal names.
Create a .txt file that lists each Jebbit Attribute ID and its matching Hubspot contact property internal name.
The primary value we use to link Jebbit data to your Hubspot data is a user email address. The email address can be collected as a value in the Jebbit Experience, or passed in the Launch Link via the UID parameter.
Submit your .txt file via Dropbox file request
Transfer the information from your .txt file via Dropbox File Request using the provided URL.
Test the integration
Complete the experience on a live launch link using test data and submit it in order to collect values and attributes.
Log in to HubSpot and navigate to the Contacts section.
Locate the contact just created based on your test data.
Click into the contact record to open the profile view.
Review the Contact Properties to confirm that:
a. Experience attributes are correctly mapped.
b. The outcome appears under the mapped field (e.g., recommended result, quiz outcome)
Note: Once the integration is complete, Jebbit will also reach out to confirm you are seeing test values (or actual values, depending on how far along you are with your experiences) to confirm the integration is working.
