Launching an experience campaign is the final step to share it with your audience and collect first-party data. Launch Links in Jebbit refer to a URL that opens a Jebbit experience when clicked. This action makes your experience live and allows you to track performance on a per-channel basis. Launch through channels such as social media, email, website, text messages, paid display ads, and more. To help you measure results, Jebbit also supports UTM parameters and tracking pixels so you can see where traffic is coming from and how people engage with your experience.

Add tracking parameters
Manually append UTM parameters to your Jebbit launch URLs after copying them from the platform. This allows you to track traffic sources and performance more accurately across campaigns.
Add UTMs after copying the base URL out of Jebbit.
Enable Forward URL Params if your experience ends with a redirect. This ensures the parameters follow users to the final URL.
Select Include URL Params when exporting response data to analyze UTM performance per user session.
Add tracking pixels
Use tracking pixels to monitor views, completions, and leads per experience screen. Tracking pixel events also allows you to create segments based on consumer responses, which will help you with retargeting efforts. If your preferred pixel isn’t listed, you can request a custom implementation.
Reach out to our support via the in-platform chat or email support.
Provide our team with the initialization script and a list of specific events you want to track. For example;
a.jebbit_engage
: When a user clicks the first button.
b.jebbit_lead
: When a user submits a lead form.c.
jebbit_outcome
: When a user reaches the outcome screen.d.
jebbit_complete
: When a user completes the experience.e.
jebbit_redirect
: When a user clicks a redirect button at the end.Confirm with our team if your experience will be embedded onsite, this affects cross-domain tracking strategies.
Allow up to seven business days for implementation. Submit early to avoid delays.
Note: The Vendor Pixel Tool by Jebbit currently supports Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook, and Neustar. Check out these support articles to learn how to add each pixel type.
Add URL parameters to identify known users
This feature allows you to enrich existing profiles in your CRM. To tie response data back to existing consumer profiles in your database, append a unique identifier (UID) to your launch URLs.
Navigate to the Launch tab from the builder map.
Select the Website channel.
Toggle the User ID setting to add the "&uid=" parameter to your launch link.
Copy the generated URL (e.g.,
https://brandname.jebbit.com/jd6pym4l?L=Owned+Web&uid=
).Manually append the dynamic tag after the "&uid=" parameter (e.g.,
&uid={{email}}
).
If you're capturing emails, send a test email to yourself (make sure your email is subscribed to your user database). Click the CTA that links to your quiz and verify that your email appears in the URL.
Campaign status definitions
The status of a campaign can be viewed from the Workbench or Experience Analytics menu. You can also hover over statuses to review definitions to better understand what each status means.
Status | Definition |
Active | If a campaign has reached more than 25 views in the past 24 hours. |
Inactive | If a campaign has less than 25 views in the past 24 hours |
Inactive (disabled) | If a campaign is deactivated (either due to reaching limits or manual disabling via the workbench's 3-dot menu), its launch link will redirect to the default link specified in settings. |
In-Design | When you start building a campaign and have not published yet. |
Testing | When a campaign has been published and has received some traffic, but has not yet hit the threshold to become 'Active'. |
Launched | The date a campaign first went 'Active' (reached 25 views within a 24-hour period). |
Last Active | The last date a campaign was 'Active' (reached 25 views within a 24-hour period). |

FAQ
Can I see the performance of one launch URL over another?
Yes, creating unique launch URLs for each channel allows you to use the native Channel Analytics dashboard to see which launch URL and associated channel are performing best.
Do I need to create a new URL every time I publish my experience?
No, you do not need to regenerate your launch URLs after publishing new versions of your experience. The launch URLs will always reflect the most recently published version.
Can I add tracking parameters to each launch URL?
Yes, you can add custom tracking parameters to your launch URLs, but this will be done manually after you copy the URL out of the platform.
I launched my experience several hours ago, but it's showing as 'Inactive' in Jebbit. Is my launch URL working?
Campaign statuses reflect traffic volume and do not determine if an experience is working. Standard experiences become "Active" after receiving 25 or more views within a 24-hour period. You can always test your experience by opening a launch link in your browser to see what your audience will see.
How does the pixel load within a Jebbit experience?
Experiences by Jebbit are single-page applications, which means they work inside a browser and do not require a reload between screens. Your pixel script is loaded once when the experience starts, and specific events trigger the pixel firing (e.g., On Load or On Response).
What is the purpose of adding pixels to an experience?
Pixels help track user behavior, conversions, and enable retargeting strategies.
I've embedded a Jebbit experience that has pixels on my website, but I'm not seeing the pixels fire.
It's possible that you are running into cross-domain tracking issues. This can happen if the domain that the Jebbit experience is hosted on does not match the domain to your parent site. Our team can work with your team to add the events via postMessage which will allow your team to add an event listener to your site to pick up the events that fire from the iframe. Or, you can set up a custom domain in your Jebbit account and then update your iframe snippet so that the Jebbit experience and your parent site share the same domain.
How do I know which tags to append to my UID parameter?
Work with your CRM to confirm the correct dynamic tag to use. Use this cheat sheet to explore common options. For instance, Klaviyo users should format the URL as
https://brandname.jebbit.com/jd6pym4l?L=Owned+Web&uid={{ email }}
.
I'm not seeing sessions from known users making it back to my CRM even though I have the URL formatted properly.
If you're unable to see submissions from existing users make it back to your CRM, then double check with your customer success manager to ensure that your integration service is configured to accept submissions in which the identifier is captured in the URL as opposed through an attribute value. This is not set up by default unless requested.
How can I ensure UTM parameters are passed after the user completes the quiz?
Enable ‘Forward URL Params’ when setting up a redirect URL.
How can I see custom UTM parameters in exported response data?
Check off ‘Include URL Params’ every time you export response data from the platform.
Will my experience still work if the status is 'Inactive'?
An 'Inactive' status simply means the campaign has received fewer than 25 views in a 24-hour period. It will automatically switch to 'Active' once that threshold is reached. The experience will continue to function as expected, as long as it was launched properly.
How can I disable a campaign?
Disable a campaign at any time within the Workbench. Hover over the experience icon and click the three-dot menu to access the disable option. An experience can also become disabled if the engagement cap limit was reached.
What happens to traffic on a launch url for a campaign that is disabled?
If a campaign becomes disabled, the launch link will redirect to the a page letting the user know that the campaign is not available. You do in fact have access to change your default redirect URL if you choose.
