Gigya Integration
Updated over a week ago

Jebbit makes it easy to register user accounts and build profiles from data collected via your Jebbit Experience. Jebbit attributes collected are sent through as key-value pairs for profile data. The key-value pairs that are sent through with each user submission will coincide directly with your Jebbit mapped attribute IDs and the values passed for these attributes. Submissions from your Jebbit experience are only sent to Gigya if an email address is available from the user submission.

Setting up a Gigya Integration

There are a few steps we ask you to take so that Jebbit can securely receive access to perform the integration. You will need administrative access to your account to perform these steps.

1. Copy the API Key, Secret, and Data Center to a .txt file

  • Find your API key and a Secret which are obtained from the Gigya Dashboard.

These can be found under your Account Settings > API Credentials.

  • Locate the Data Center associated with your account

  • Please copy this information into a .txt file, including your name and company name in the name of your .txt file.

Example File

File Name:

John Doe - Company A.txt

Content:

API key: xxXXxxXXxxxxxXXXXX

API Secret: 123456

Data Center: US1

2. Copy API Integration Information to a .txt file

  • After saving your Token, please copy the token pair. Once you dismiss the dialog, it is not possible to see it again so please make sure to copy and paste it somewhere secure.

  • Please copy each of these values and paste into a .txt file.

3. Submit your .txt file via Dropbox File Request

  • For security reasons, we ask that you transfer the information from your .txt file via Dropbox File request.

    • If you have your own preferred means of transferring API information, please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate.

Our Jebbit Integrations Team will be notified once this information is submitted, and will be in contact with you regarding timelines and testing.
