Postscript Integration
Updated over a week ago

Jebbit makes it easy to create and update subscribers to your Postscript account from data collected via your Jebbit experience. Jebbit attributes collected are sent through as subscriber tags for that subscriber. The tag values that are sent through with each subscriber submission will coincide directly with your Jebbit mapped attribute values.

Setting up a Postscript Integration

There are a few steps we ask you to take so that Jebbit can securely receive access to perform the integration. You will need administrative access to your account to perform these steps.

1. Create a API key and secret

  • To enable API access, you must provide Jebbit with your company’s unique Postscript private API key, which you can obtain from your account API page in Postscript. Click “Create Security Key Pair” to automatically create a new key pair if you do not have an existing one on hand.

2. Provide Jebbit with target Postscript keyword

  • In the keywords section of Postscript, create a new keyword you want to use to track opt-ins from this source. Then select OPT IN and create whatever REPLY you want (what you want the user to get back when they sign up).

3. Copy API Integration Information to a .txt file

  • Please copy the API key and target keyword into a .txt file. Please include your name and company name in the name of your .txt file.

Example File

File Name:

John Doe - Company A.txt

Content:

Private API Key: xxXXxxXXxxxxxXXXX

Keyword: JEBBITPOSTSCRIPTTEST

4. Submit your .txt file via Dropbox File Request

For security reasons, we ask that you transfer the information from your .txt file via Dropbox File request. Please submit your file using this URL.

Our Jebbit Integrations Team will be notified once this information is submitted, and will be in contact with you regarding timelines and testing.
