Report Center
Updated over a week ago

The Report Center is an excellent tool to automate your Jebbit reports to a set of email addresses or an SFTP endpoint.

Step by Step Guide

The Report Center has a number of customizations to get you the data you need. Here's how to get started.

  1. Name your report so you can easily locate your reports within the Jebbit platform.

  2. Select the report you would like to automate and where you would like the data sent to: an SFTP or a set of email addresses.

  3. Select which campaigns you would like to include in the report. With the Attribute export, we will send all campaigns by default in the same file. With the Campaign export, each campaign will create a unique file (so be careful with how many campaigns you select).

  4. Customize the columns and format of each report

  5. Specify whether you will be passing data from the EU and outside the EU (for GDPR purposes)

  6. Specify how often and what time of the day the reports should be scheduled. You can decide between hourly, daily, a set day of the week, or every X number days.

Scheduling to an SFTP

With the Report Center you can automate your data to a set of email addresses or to an SFTP endpoint.

  1. You will want to set up your SFTP by reaching out to our integrations team at integrations@jebbit.com. Once you have an SFTP connected to the Jebbit platform, you can schedule as many files as you please.

  2. Once connected you can specify the SFTP option in the Report Center modal.

  3. You have control over what specific attributes to include in your CSV. You have four options:

    • Pass all attributes (the default)

    • Select specific attributes (see image below)

    • All Mapped attributes

    • Only pass mapped attributes to the campaigns in the report

  4. When passing your CSVs to an SFTP endpoint, often an engineer on the other end will be automating how they pick the files up and will need to know what the file name format will look like. The good news is, you now have the ability to customize the structure of your file name. There are two parts to the file name:

    1. The text string

    2. The data format

  5. You an also customize how the text string portion of the file name is passed and whether it is appended or prepended to the date.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will the data send retroactively?

A: The data does not send retroactively. If you schedule a weekly report to send on Wednesdays, then on the next Wednesday you will receive the seven previous days worth of data.

Q: Which reports can you set up an automated schedule for?

A: You can export 4 types of reports using the Report Center.

Q: What are the benefits for setting up an SFTP automation?

A: There are a few main use cases for sending data to an SFTP.

  1. Your engineering team may want to automate picking up the files to ingest into another place (such as a datawarehouse). Think of it like a self-serve integration setup using CSVs.

  2. An SFTP could be a safe place to send CSV files with sensitive information (or too sensitive for email)

  3. Some files are too large for email, so an SFTP is a better option to automate the data to.

Q: Can I receive Lead Capture details in real time with Jebbit?

A: Yes, you can receive lead capture details in real-time with Jebbit. If you're a brand looking to be notified each time a lead is collected, you can set this up by selecting the option: Email Leads as they come in. This will send you the lead information along with all the attributes collected from the user. You should receive any leads within 15 minutes of a customer submitting a form. However, if the completion point is marked later in the experience, the lead might be delayed, so it's best practice to mark the lead capture screen as the completion point.
