Product carousels offer several ways to display recommended products, allowing for flexible styling and navigation options.
Set up and Customize a Product Carousel
Add the Outcome
To display products on an outcome screen, you must first add the outcome option. You can use the Carousel layout option with either the Products or Product Feed Display outcome options.
Select the Carousel Layout
Once you add the Products or Product Feed Display outcome, select the Carousel layout option underneath the display options.
Customize Carousel Options
After selecting the Carousel layout, customize its appearance and behavior using the available options.
Arrows: Enable clickable arrows for navigation between items in the carousel. Choose between a Circular or Minimal style. You can color the arrows to work with any background.
Dot Navigation: Enable dots that display how many products are included in the carousel. These dots show the user how many items were recommended. Dot navigation options include controlling the color for the active and inactive states. You might want to lighten the inactive dots and use a special color for the active dot so the user knows where they are in the sequence.
Dots shown in the Editor screen may not match the number of dots you see in the preview.Product Peek: Show a smaller, blurred-out preview of the products to the right and left of the currently displayed product.
Choose Listing Type
Decide how products display within the Carousel by selecting a listing type.
Display individual products: Shows products from multiple categories in a standard carousel format.
Group Into Categories: Displays the product's Category in a top bar above the product recommendation. You can style each category uniquely. In the Editor, click the eyeball icon next to a Category to preview and style it, or use the arrows in the carousel to scroll through categories.
