ReCAPTCHA Support Article
Jebbit now offers ReCAPTCHA services to enhance the security of our experiences. This feature is not available by default to all customers and can be activated upon request. It is intended for use with sweepstakes and giveaway experiences.
**Step-by-Step Guide**
1. From the ‘More’ menu in the Builder Map, select the ‘ReCAPTCHA’ option.
2. Toggle ReCAPTCHA ‘on’ and click save. You must publish your experience to activate ReCAPTCHA; clicking ‘Save’ alone is insufficient.
3. After enabling ReCAPTCHA, you can choose whether to display the ReCAPTCHA badge in your experience. If you opt not to display it, we recommend informing users that ReCAPTCHA is running in the background.
4. If the toggle is on and your experience is published, ReCAPTCHA is active!
**FAQs**
- Will users know if ReCAPTCHA is on? What does it do?
Jebbit uses a version of ReCAPTCHA that requires no action from users (they do not need to select images or type characters). It operates in the background, tracking user interactions like button clicks and mouse movements to assess the likelihood of a user being a bot.
- What happens if Jebbit detects a bot?
If ReCAPTCHA identifies a user as likely a bot, we invalidate that user session, meaning their data will not be included in Analytics or transferred to your systems.
