Question Matrix

This article guides you through adding and configuring the Question Matrix element within the Experiences by Jebbit platform.

Updated this week

In Experiences by Jebbit, the Question Matrix allows you to:

  • Add a matrix element to an experience.

  • Customize the size and appearance of the matrix.

  • Collect declared data from consumers.

  • View and export consumer responses.

Add and Configure the element

The Question Matrix element allows you to ask consumers multiple questions in a single grid format.

Add the Question Matrix element

Follow these steps to add the Question Matrix element to your experience:

  1. In the editor, go to Add Elements.

  2. In the Response Types section, choose Question matrix.

Configure the element

After adding the Question Matrix element, customize it to meet your needs by following these steps:

  1. Understand the default setup. When you add the element, a 3x3 grid appears by default, with questions as rows and answers as column headers.

  2. To change rows, click on the empty cell next to the row header. It will turn blue once selected. Use the float toolbar that appears to add, remove, or reorder rows. You can include any number of rows.

  3. To change columns, click on the thin empty cell below the vertical header. It will turn blue once selected. Use the float toolbar that appears to add, remove, or reorder columns. You can include up to 4 columns.

  4. You have complete control over the background colors of the grid. Select the colors you want for the grid areas and the radio buttons.

Next Steps

After configuring your Question Matrix, preview your experience to ensure everything is working properly.

FAQ

How do you view responses from a Question Matrix element?

You can check out the insights collected by the Question Matrix in two ways:

  • Question Analytics UI: View the questions broken down by response in one place to see how consumers answered each question.

  • Event Level CSV Export: Each question in the Question Matrix represents a column header in the CSV export. The individual consumer responses appear as the values in the rows.
